GOVERNOR BABAJIDE SANWO-OLU’S FIRST BATCH OF COMMISSIONERS CONSTITUTES 32% WOMEN INCLUSION.
In fulfillment of his election promise to accelerate his administration’s development agenda, Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, transmitted a list of Commissioner-designates to the House of Assembly for ratification. The list contained twenty five names, out which are 8 women constituting 32% female representation, who are to assume duty as Commissioners and Special Advisers, making Lagos State 2% away from the 35% affirmative action. The names of the appointed women are:
Mrs. Folashade Adefisayo, Mrs. Toke Benson-Awoyinka, Mrs. Bolaji Dada, Ms. Adekemi Ajayi, Mrs. Ajibola Ponnle, Mrs. Uzamat Akinbile-Yusuf and Ms. Ruth Bisola Olusanya.
Women Radio congratulates the women appointed and appreciates Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for the inclusion of women in his cabinet and also look forward to at least 35% female representation in Lagos State.
