POLICE QUESTIONS TEKNO OVER NUDE DANCING GIRLS IN LAGOS
The Lagos State Police Command has arrested popular musician, Augustine Kelechi, aka Tekno, for breaching public decency by conveying half naked girls in traffic.
Tekno who had sometime last week conveyed half-clad girls, who were dancing seductively, in a transparent glass box in a truck around the Lekki-Ikoyi Link Bridge, is undergoing questioning at the state Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (SCIID), Panti, Yaba, according to the state Police Spokesman, Bala Elkana, a deputy superintendent of police, Olusegun Runsewe, Director General, National Council for Arts and Culture decried the viral video, which showed semi-clad women dancing in public on Friday in Lekki area of Lagos State.
Runsewe commended the Lagos State Government and police for its prompt decision to fish out the brains behind the Lekki public naked dance, saying that the display negated the beauty of Nigerian culture and ways of life.
