NIMI: the revolutionary AI Women Radio Host
15 November 2024
Women Radio 91.7 is proud to announce the launch of “NIMI” a cutting-edge AI Radio Host designed to elevate the listening experience with a blend of innovation, empowerment and accessibility. “NIMI” is Nigerian and a vibrant, interactive virtual assistant that brings warmth, support and value to every listener.
“NIMI” will be unveiled at the AI Radio Summit on 16 November 2024 at Colossus Lagos. This pioneering project aims to revolutionise the way audiences engage with radio, offering a women and family-friendly platform for listeners across the globe. With a dynamic personality that embodies empowerment, empathy and a dash of humour, “NIMI” will guide listeners through programmes, deliver real-time updates and engage in meaningful conversations about wellness, relationships, careers and lifestyle. Whether offering advice on wellness, suggesting mindfulness practices, or delivering motivational talks, “NIMI” is a trusted companion who understands the struggles of everyday life and is here to support women and families in their personal journeys.
According to Toun Okewale Sonaiya CEO Women Radio 91.7, “NIMI is designed to help Nigerians especially women access real-time information. Most women are not open to conversing with others, especially on personal matters, so “NIMI” the virtual assistant is just the right platform to attend to their needs.” In addition to its radio duties, “NIMI” will also serve as a 3D avatar on the Women Radio website, offering an interactive experience where visitors can chat, ask questions and receive tailored advice. This ensures listeners engage with the station’s digital presence in a more personal and immersive way. At the heart of “Nimi’s” mission is the empowerment of women and the promotion of a sense of community.
By combining AI technology with traditional broadcasting, Women Radio 91.7 is positioning itself as a leader in the media industry, pioneering a new era of radio engagement. “NIMI” will be available both on air and on the website, ensuring that listeners can access valuable resources and support when needed.
