REMI SONAIYA FOR PRESIDENCY 2019

Nigeria’s only female presidential candidate in the 2015 general elections under the platform of KOWA Party has declared she will be contesting again in 2019.
Sonaiya in an interview with Women Radio Wfm91.7 says: “I will be going for Nigeria’s presidency in 2019, again under KOWA Party.”

Sonaiya joined KOWA Party in 2010 and was voted its National Public Relations Officer at the National Convention held that year.

Sonaiya retired voluntarily as a Professor of French Language and Applied Linguistics from Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria. She was ambassador scientist of the German Alexander von Humboldt Foundation from 2008 to 2014, and is on the International Faculty of Haggai Insitute, Hawaii, USA, where she facilitates on Stewardship.

Prof. Remi Sonaiya is an educationist, a writer and a politician. Her latest book is “Daybreak Nigeria: This Nation Must Rise!” (2104, Kachifo).
