PUWI Empowers Widows in Suleja
The Prime Unique Women Initiative (PUWI) has extend its support programme to widows of Suleija Community, Niger State.
The President of PUWI, Dr. Folake Yobah at a two day outreach programme said it will empower women in Suleja to be financially independent and through capacity building. “We will partner with the Chairman of Suleja to empower women and widows in Suleja and give free medical check up for the widows” Yobah and assured the community no woman will go to bed hungry.
Speaking at the outreach was PUWI Director of operations, Charles Eloma, who said “this outreach is part of our yearly December tradition and we have selected 100 most vulnerable of widows this year to put smiles on their faces” The beneficiaried at the event expressed appreciation for the gifts and thanked PUWI for truly thinking of widows in Suleija.
