3 years of silence: where is Leah Sharibu?
3 years ago on 19 February 2018 at 5:30pm Nigerian time, Leah Sharibu and other 109 school girls aged 11–19 were kidnapped from Government Girls’ Science & Technical College, Dapchi Yobe State by Boko Haram terrorist group. On 21 March 2018, the Dapchi girls were released except Leah (but sadly 5 died).
Leah Sharibu the only Dapchi girl remains in captivity, because she refused to renounce her faith to convert to Islam.
“3 years of silence: where is Leah Sharibu?” is a reminder to the Federal Government of Nigeria of it’s obligation to protection of life of every Nigerian. We will continue to hold the government accountable until Leah Sharibu, the Chibok girls and other girls return home.
