MORE MEN REGISTERS FOR 2019 ELECTIONS

INEC on 21st August reports more men have registered than women in the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR).

Over 12 million voters were newly registered with 5,832,234 million being women and atotal of 6,856.558 million are men.

Women Radio 91.7 urges women to register to be able to exercise their voting rights in the 2019 general elections.
“We must overcome whatever the challenges are; be deliberate to register and vote right in the 2019 general elections”

Registration of voters continues till 31st August 2018. Monday through Sunday 9am-5pm except public holidays
