NIGERIAN WOMEN TRUST FUND (NWTF)

The Nigerian Women Trust Fund (NWTF) organised a strategic two-day workshop on media portrayal of female candidates in the 2019 general elections on 23rd-24th Nov. 2018.

The media was charged to report female candidates based on their achievements & competencies.

Female candidates were advised to court the media, be friends with the media and speak more about their capabilities to their advantage.

Participants include electronic, print and the new media and female candidates across different political parties from all geo political zones.

The 2-day workshop was supported by Australian AID and in partnership with Women Radio 91.7 & Women in Politics Forum.
